THE ROLE

Logistics and Supply Chain is an integral part of our operations and key to the business. We are looking for an experienced full time Non-CDL Box Truck driver to join the team and be based out of our warehouse location in New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely pick up and delivery of our products across the tri-state region.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will transport our products between warehousing, distribution points, manufacturing plants, and retail locations

You will inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

You will plan routes and meet delivery schedules

You will document and log work/rest periods and mileage spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts

You will input "macros" into our automated system for each stage of the loading and unloading process

You will comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

You will maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

You will collect and verify delivery instructions

You will assist the Shipping and Receiving teams in the loading and unloading of trucks

You will report defects, accidents, or violations

WHO YOU ARE

You have proven work experience as a commercial truck driver

You have experienced driving a 16-foot box truck

You have hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)

You have the ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

You have extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

You have no recent moving or driving violations

You have the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs.)

You have the adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)

You are willing to submit to background checks, random drug screenings and provide employment verification

NYC WAGE TRANSPARENCY LAW

The pay range for this position at the commencement of employment is expected to be between $18 and $20/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, the employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
