Job Overview Komatsu is currently recruiting a Field Welder to work at our Kilgore, TX location. Key Job Responsibilities • Proficient at Carbon Arc Gouging • Proficient with Oxy/Fuel Torch • Understand Weld Symbols • Proficient at Print Reading • Proficient at Fitting/Layout • Experience with a variety of SMAW and FCAW welding electrodes. • Up to 75% travel/field repairs • Dual shield 1/16 wire with 75/25% shielded welding gas. Qualifications/Requirements • Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis. • Perform a variety of welding and cutting applications (including air arcing). • Lay out and perform complex repairs with a high level of accuracy and quality. • Assess equipment repair needs and developing repair processes. • Troubleshoot, maintain and perform minor repairs to most assigned tooling; wire feeders and welding machines. • Work in a diverse team environment. • Ability to use all varieties of precision measuring instruments. • Must be able to wear a respirator or fresh air hood when required. • Working at heights, elevated surfaces, man lift and etc. Additional Information Komatsu is an Equal Opportunity Workplace and an Affirmative Action Employer.
