We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator that will be working in a highly collaborative, multi-platform and multi-disciplined environment. The Systems Administrator is required to have an active secret security clearance as they will be responsible for deploying and maintaining classified IT infrastructures. The candidate's day-to-day activities include but are not limited to Windows or Linux server management; storage management; file server management; access management; data backup; software and license configuration; and workstation support. Responsibilities • Provide System Administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and RedHat Enterprise Linux environment. , • Apply understanding and knowledge of Windows Server internals including DNS, DHCP, AD, and Linux integration methods. , • Work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment. , • Use troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of moderate to high scope and complexity, including the integration of hardware and operating systems. , • Apply understanding of data RAID, data backup uses and technologies. , • Install and configure software applications requested by end users. , • Work with Cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements. , • Provide weekend and after-hours support as required. Requirements • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field. , • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. , • Experience with Windows and/or Linux/Unix server and workstations. , • Experience using VMware vCenter, vSphere, VDI (Horizon), and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods. , • Experience with security infrastructure products and capabilities. Nice-to-haves • An active DoD Top Secret clearance , • Experience with NetApp , • Experience with Windows architecture, deployment, administration, performance monitoring/tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting. , • Experience with infrastructure backup, restore, disaster recovery and business continuity products. , • Experience with application installation and multi-server environment/deployment. , • Scripting Experience (PowerShell, Ansible, Python) , • Experience hardening systems using tools like SCAP and following STIGs. , • Experience supporting engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
