About the position As a K-12 Education Account Executive at Apple, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the educational landscape by enhancing sales engagement for K-12 institutions within your assigned territory. This position is not just about selling products; it’s about understanding the unique needs of educational institutions and crafting tailored solutions that leverage Apple’s innovative technology. You will be responsible for demand generation and uncovering new business opportunities while also nurturing and managing relationships with existing customers. Your efforts will directly contribute to Apple's mission of revolutionizing education through technology. In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of the organizational structures and decision-making processes within the education sector. You will engage with stakeholders at all levels, from educators to administrators, to influence and drive sales initiatives. Your ability to articulate Apple’s education leadership messages will be crucial as you present and sell 1:1 initiatives and other educational solutions. You will apply Apple’s complex sales methodology to identify opportunities and establish collaborative relationships with our route-to-market partners, thereby increasing sales coverage and growth. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, where you will be expected to craft sales opportunities that not only increase revenue but also establish a dominant share position for Apple in the education market. Your success will be measured by your ability to meet and exceed sales goals, making your role integral to the overall success of Apple’s education strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and enhance sales engagement for K-12 Education institutions in an assigned territory.

  • Generate demand and uncover new business in a targeted customer base.

  • Support and manage relationships with existing customers.

  • Understand the organizational structure and decision-making process in the Education Sector.

  • Influence stakeholders at all levels across accounts.

  • Craft sales opportunities and projects to increase sales in Apple's Education accounts.

  • Present and sell 1:1 initiatives into the Education marketplace.

  • Articulate and present Apple's education leadership messages effectively.

  • Apply Apple's complex sales methodology to find opportunities across accounts.

  • Establish collaborative relationships with RTM partners to increase sales coverage and growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years of related experience in education or technology sales.

,

  • Quantifiable record of success in meeting and exceeding sales goals.

,

  • Experience with a solution-based approach to solving customer requirements.

,

  • Understanding of complex sales cycles.

,

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Deep understanding of the Education market.

  • Ability to build rapport with new customers across all levels of an Education organization.

  • Ability to articulate Apple Education Products strategy and Apple Value proposition.

  • Relevant sales experience with technology-based products.
