Electrical Engineer Entry Level - Atlanta
Join Salas O'Brien as an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer, assisting in design and testing of electrical systems. Your Role: Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the design and development of electrical circuits, systems, and products using CAD software.
- Support the development of schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical design requirements are met.
- Perform basic electrical calculations and analysis to ensure design integrity and compliance.
- Assist in the testing and validation of prototypes and final products.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during design and testing phases.
- Prepare and maintain detailed engineering documentation.
- Assist in the creation of technical presentations and project status updates.
- Work with senior engineers and project managers to meet project deadlines.
- Participate in the selection and evaluation of electrical components and systems.
- Provide support during Construction Administration.
About You: The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
- Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Familiarity with industry standards and codes (e.g., IEEE, NEC).
- Preferred Experience with simulation tools (e.g., SPICE, MATLAB).
- Internship or co-op experience in an electrical engineering role is a plus.
