UX Copywriter

Job title: UX Copywriter in Glendale, CA at Software Resources Company: Software Resources Job description: Software Resources has an immediate, long term contract for UX Copywriters with a major corporation in Glendale/Burbank, CAPosition is mainly Remote, but must be local to Glendale/Burbank for any purpose driven meetings.12+ month contract Pay Rate: $ 42 - $47/hr DOEMust include a Portfolio and Work Samples.Job Overview: Incorporating the objectives of each of the businesses, this role will strategize, write, edit and manage marketing and user experience copy efforts for the entire portfolio of websites, mobile apps and onsite digital products under DX Tech & Digital, while adhering to the current design and copywriting style guides and the latest digital trends.Responsibilities:

• Write, edit and maintain copy for various digital experiences and platforms, including websites and mobile apps, to meet targeted business objectives
• Create specific types of content in various forms within established, approved processes
• Develop, maintain and follow appropriate style guide rules to target key users, while maintaining digital portfolio consistency
• Collaborate with internal partners, including content strategists, interaction and visual designers, search analysts, technology teams, marketing groups and legal partners, to cultivate appropriate marketing tactics and storytelling strategies
• Regularly attend, collaborate and present during marketing and internal team meetings and reviews

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years industry experience writing online marketing and user experience copy for websites and digital platforms, including apps
• Excellent writing skills including impeccable spelling and grammar, with a strong emphasis on the guest experience
• Ability to manage a heavy workload, prioritize multiple projects and work well under pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to think critically and organize information for online and mobile publication
• Knowledge of interactive technologies, information architecture and the use of keywords for search engine optimization
• Writing samples (online editorial portfolio) that establishes versatility—in style, tone and type of material
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office productivity software including Teams and Word, Jira and Figma
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (advertising, writing, media communications, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience writing for websites, apps and emerging platforms
• Knowledge of creative development and website production processes
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with the Disney brand and/or leisure, vacation and cruise businesses

Required Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (advertising, writing, etc.)
