- Experience: Minimum 7-10+ years of building design experience.
- Education: Master's degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. university (required).
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience with Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
- Experience in a wide range of structural materials and building types.
- Ability to design and detail structural systems for large, complex structures.
- Proficiency in working with BIM designers, architects, and consultants.
- Seismic & Structural Knowledge:
- Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofitting (ASCE 41) is a plus.
- Experience working with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD is a plus.
- SE License (preferred, but not required).
- Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience working on high-rise, commercial, aviation, healthcare, and institutional projects.

- Monday - Friday (in-office) with Work-from-Home (WFH) on Fridays
- Lead and manage structural engineering designs for large, complex projects.
- Work closely with Project Managers, BIM designers, architects, and consultants.
- Oversee design calculations, detailing, and structural system development.
- Assist in seismic evaluations, retrofitting, and ASCE 41 compliance.
- Collaborate on building code compliance and structural integrity assessments.
- Participate in client meetings, technical presentations, and project planning.
- Mentor and provide technical support to junior engineers.
