Bookkeeper - Hybrid and Remote Opportunities We are actively seeking a meticulous and committed Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring our financial operations function efficiently and accurately. As a Bookkeeper, your core responsibilities will encompass recording daily financial transactions, updating the general ledger, and preparing... crucial financial reports. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining compliance with applicable standards and help prepare necessary tax documentation. Key Responsibilities • Accurately record daily financial transactions and oversee the posting process. • Ensure all transactions are recorded correctly in the appropriate ledgers, including day books, supplier's ledgers, customer ledgers, and the general ledger. • Prepare and maintain financial records up to the trial balance stage. • Process accounts receivable and payable, ensuring payroll is handled efficiently. • Prepare and file essential financial documents in a timely manner. • Reconcile company accounts to assure precision. • Assist with tax payments and returns as needed. • Monitor cash flow and generate financial reports to support management in informed decision-making. Required Skills • Proven experience in bookkeeping. • Strong grasp of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks). • Exceptional data entry skills and a keen attention to detail. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks effectively. • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities. Qualifications • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
