This role offers the flexibility of working 100% remotely as an Independent Contractor. Key Responsibilities • Accurately transcribe depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. • Process audio recordings while adhering to specified style guides to produce verbatim transcripts. • Ensure stringent attention to detail and maintain high accuracy in transcription. • Collaborate with our supportive in-office team when necessary. • Manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines consistently. Required Skills • Demonstrated experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription. • Exceptional listening abilities and strict adherence to deadlines and client-specific style guidelines. • Strong literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. • Proficient typing skills, showcasing both speed and accuracy. • Capability to process sensitive audio/text content. • Familiarity with legal terminology is essential.
