Position Summary: Number Nerd is looking for a fully remote, part-time bookkeeper to join our team. This role requires client-facing, bookkeeping experience in the legal, insurance and or professional service verticals. You will help manage our clients' books and grow their business to full maximize their potential. This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your bookkeeping background and flex your “analytical muscles” while maintaining great work-life balance with a flexible schedule! You will be responsible for supporting our client's bookkeeping needs that include, but are not limited to, recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, account reconciliation, payroll reports, expense tracking, month-end close, and auditing. This role requires deep knowledge and experience using Quickbooks Online. Who YOU Are, and What You'll Be Doing: • You are detail-oriented, a good communicator, and eager problem-solver! • You will be managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities within QuickBooks and other required tech stack. • You will monitor and ensure the accuracy of client accounts • You provide consultative support to our clients and maintain a steady line of communication with them on a scheduled basis • You will enter advanced bookkeeping entries, including accruals, prepayments, inter-company transactions, and depreciation • You identify inefficiencies in bookkeeping processes and implement solutions to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and optimize productivity • You assist with budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting, and expense tracking activities • You will review payroll reports for accuracy and enter necessary entries to record payroll • You will establish standardized procedures to ensure accurate and seamless handoff of financial records Bottom line… you are a rockstar and exceed expectations on a daily basis!
