VTS is an established boutique tax firm and independent multi-family office. The firm provides professional support and helps manage the finances for a small group of Ultra High Net Worth families. Service lines include income and estate tax planning, accounting and financial reporting, tax compliance, and sophisticated financial planning. Duties and Responsibilities • Oversee and support administrative duties of the firm. • Receive and sort incoming mail and manage outgoing mail. • Bookkeeping for the firm including A/R and A/P. • Assist with budgeting and financial record keeping. • Assist with monthly reporting, tax return preparation and bookkeeping duties for firm clients using QuickBooks and Excel. • Manage tax projects which consists of client management, assembling, tracking projects and creating reports. • Assist with tax return processing and filing tax returns. • Clerical work including electronic filing and scanning of documents, mail and email. • Providing other administrative support as necessary. Qualifications • CPA or Public Accounting (Tax) office management experience is required. • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting/tax software is a plus. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed. • Able to multi-task and complete projects timely. • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus.
