Seasonal Support Drivers are responsible for completing assigned delivery routes, engaging with customers, and ensuring packages are delivered safely and on time. Flexibility is essential, as shifts are assigned based on operational needs. Job Duties and Responsibilities of Local Delivery Associate:  Drive your own vehicle to transport packages to designated destinations  Carry items that are as heavy as 70 pounds  Engage with customers consistently and deliver service excellence  Stick to UPS uniform rules and maintain appropriate appearance  Make arrangements for a meeting spot with the driver if applicable  Ensure that the appearance and maintenance of vehicles align with company policies and safety regulations Qualifications and Experience of Local Delivery Associate:  Required to have a lawful driver's license within your state  The rightful permission to work within the United States under legal guidelines.  Proficiency in outdoor tasks and being able to lift items that weigh 70 pounds  No prior experience in delivery is needed  Recognized for their trustworthiness, thoroughness, and reliability  The necessity of having valid registration, insurance, and meeting specified appearance standards is paramount for personal vehicles Benefits of Local Delivery Associate:  Competitive hourly pay  Compensation for mileage costs allowed at a rate of $0.67 per mile  Weekly pay  Seasonal role that offers the possibility of development  Modifiable schedules, including potential workdays on Saturdays and holidays Salary: Payment of $23.00 for each hour worked, alongside compensation for mileage Why UPS ?
