As a FedEx Co-Op, you will be working on projects gaining you valuable, real-world experience in a professional environment as it relates to your field of study. Essential Functions... • Present and deliver long-term solutions that will have significant impacts to the business and/or customer experience. • Participates in various networking and/or community service events. • Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Currently enrolled student or recent college graduate (within 6 months of graduation) at a college/university obtaining a 3.0 GPA or higher. Preferred Degree: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related quantitative discipline. Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as a part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Demonstrates interpersonal communication skills. Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to communicate with across business units and to all levels of management. Ability to analyze, review, and make recommendations. Preferred Qualifications: This three-rotation co-op in the Facilities & Material Handling Engineer dept. involves managing Cap-X projects of distribution facilities that process and transport packages and applying project management principles from design through startup. Responsibilities include serving as an owner’s representative, defining project scope, budget, and schedule; coordinating with internal teams and vendors, overseeing construction, and managing the installation of sortation systems and controls. Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour Additional Details: This is a full-time Spring 2025 Co-op position for 40 hours a week.
