Job Summary Candidates must be located in Texas Newscape Studios owns a variety of YouTube channels, amassing nearly 30 million total subscribers creating original animations and content on games such as Fortnite and Minecraft. The studio creates a vast array of videos for a wide audience. While past experience isn't required, Newscape expresses interest primarily in candidates learning to use Adobe Creative Suite or have experience in creating machinimas. The studio intern position is ideal for college students, editors and aspiring content creators trying to get their foot in the door. As an intern for Newscape Studios team, you will be expected to help with body acting in machinimas, voice acting, learn and develop your skills in media production, and other important project related tasks. Interns must be able to adapt to a variety of workflows. The primary role of this position will be to help film machinimas, adhering to a strict schedule of releases. Experience with Minecraft is a plus. It's imperative that candidates show a willingness to learn, hard work ethic and knowledge of gaming and media. All applicants must be able to manage their time and be self motivated. The main objective of the candidate is providing aid wherever necessary for the office as a whole. We are looking for interns who can work Monday through Thursdays, either a full 3 days a week 8:30am-5:30pm (21hrs not including 1 hour lunch) or a full 4 days a week 8:30am-5:30pm (28hrs not including 1 hour lunch) week based on project demand. Additional hours may be required for special events and/or heavy workloads. This internship is for 6 months with the ability to move into employee status after the 6 months depending on performance.
