Role Overview:

We're seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our Community Support Platform (CSP) team at Airbnb, where you'll play a crucial role in shaping the technical vision and delivering innovative solutions for our customer support operations. As a key member of our team, you'll work on developing cutting-edge technology to empower our global network of Community Support ambassadors, utilizing AI to revolutionize our approach to customer service.

About the Team:

The CSP team is a critical part of Airbnb's customer support operations, and we're committed to delivering exceptional customer service with high efficiency. Our Chatbot Product team is focused on providing a seamless user experience by combining AI capabilities with the expertise of our support ambassadors. As a Software Engineer on this team, you'll have the opportunity to work on novel products and features, driving technical quality and system quality.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering counterparts, to execute on product and business strategy
• Drive the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and launch
• Nurture a culture of technical quality from design to production operations
• Work on backend workflows of LLM driven chatbot and frontend user experience across different platforms

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of relevant software development experience in a fast-paced tech environment
• Strong expertise with backend systems in service-oriented architectures
• Experience with frontend or full stack development
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team and with teams across engineering, product, and design organizations
• Passion for efficiency, availability, technical quality, and system quality
• Bachelor's and/or Master's/PhD degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience
