Math Tutoring Expert (High School Level) - Competitive Hourly Rate & Flexible Schedule

Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Math Tutor to join our team of educators, providing in-person tutoring to high school students in Spring, TX, and surrounding areas. As a Math Tutor with our established local firm, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' academic journeys, helping them achieve their full potential in math subjects such as Algebra I, II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, personalized math tutoring to students in grades 9-12, tailoring lesson plans to meet individual learning styles and academic goals
• Conduct 60-minute in-home tutoring sessions, providing a supportive and engaging learning environment
• Develop and implement customized lesson plans, assessing student progress and adjusting instruction as needed
• Collaborate with students' families to ensure they are informed of progress and involved in the learning process
• Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, including student progress, scores, and areas for improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Education, Mathematics, or related)
• Proven experience in tutoring, teaching, or test preparation, with a strong focus on math education
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and families
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as well as a willingness to work independently and remotely as needed
• Self-motivated and committed to helping students succeed, with a passion for education and a growth mindset
