Job Summary:
Littera Education is seeking part-time, 100% virtual tutors to join our team for the upcoming school year. As a Virtual Tutor, you will provide academic support to K-6 students across the United States in English or Math. Enjoy a flexible scheduling experience, choosing your own hours and working with the same students week-to-week.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, virtual tutoring sessions to K-6 students in English or Math
- Engage with students in a virtual classroom setting, using clear communication and interpersonal skills
- Utilize online virtual tools and technology to deliver effective instruction
- Commit to a consistent schedule, once assigned, to build strong tutor-student relationships
Benefits and Requirements:
- Earn $18 per hour, with opportunity to earn $22 per hour for Algebra I tutoring sessions
- Flexible scheduling, with availability to choose your own hours
- Opportunity to work with the same students week-to-week, building consistent relationships
- Relevant experience working with school-age learners; bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
- Relatively consistent ongoing calendar availability, week-to-week
- High comfort level with online virtual tools and technology
- Desktop or laptop with Chrome browser, video camera, and reliable internet connection
