Job Title: Recruiter IV Location: Remote – Supporting team in Abbott Park, IL Period: 01/27/2025 to 06/30/2025– possibility of extension/direct hire Hours/Week: 40 hours – Hours over 40 will be paid at time and a half Rate: $50 – $55/hour Contract Type: W-2 only, no visa sponsorships or subcontracting Scope of Services: The Recruiter IV will provide recruiting and staffing services to the Lake County management team. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies, recruiting external candidates, and meeting the hiring needs of the organization. The Recruiter IV will oversee the entire pre-employment process, including background checks, references, and other necessary steps. This role also ensures that offers are competitive, aligned with internal equity, and reflect external market trends. The Recruiter IV will track and manage candidate data in the Client’s requisition and applicant tracking system to maintain compliance and provide accurate reporting metrics. A BA in Human Resources or a related field is required, and a Master’s or SHRM certification is preferred. Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

  • Develop and Implement Recruiting Strategies: Design and execute effective recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates for open positions, meeting both short-term and long-term business needs.
  • Sourcing and Screening Candidates: Proactively source external candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, and networking events. Screen and interview candidates to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Pre-employment Process Management: Oversee all pre-employment processes, including conducting background checks, reference checks, and other necessary verifications to ensure candidates meet the client’s requirements.
  • Compensation Recommendations: Provide recommendations for competitive offers based on internal equity and market compensation data. Ensure offers align with both the company’s budget and external market standards.
  • Data Management and Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Client’s requisition and applicant tracking system. Ensure compliance with legal and company policies related to recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Candidate Communication: Keep candidates informed throughout the hiring process, ensuring a positive candidate experience while adhering to the company’s communication guidelines.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Generate and provide regular reports on key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate quality, and sourcing effectiveness. Monitor and assess the success of recruiting campaigns.

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
  • Prior experience recruiting for a variety of roles, with an understanding of staffing strategies, candidate sourcing, and recruitment technology.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruiting best practices and the ability to tailor strategies to meet business needs.
  • Experience with candidate screening, interview techniques, and evaluating applicants for job fit and organizational alignment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels, including hiring managers, candidates, and external partners.
  • Ability to clearly explain job requirements, expectations, and company policies.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple requisitions simultaneously and maintain high standards of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Experience working with an ATS for candidate tracking, requisition management, and reporting. Familiarity with Client’s specific ATS is a plus.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret recruiting metrics to drive improvements in the hiring process and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is a plus.
