In this role, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and monitoring the university's compliance with laws, regulations, and policies. Conduct regular reviews and audits of the university's compliance processes and procedures to ensure they align with laws, regulations, and policies. Develop and maintain a comprehensive compliance monitoring program to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to establish and implement compliance policies and procedures. Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to effectively monitor and advise on compliance matters. Conduct thorough investigations of any compliance issues or violations, and develop corrective action plans to address them. Provide training and guidance to university employees on compliance matters and assist in developing and delivering compliance education programs. Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to university leadership. Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory agencies as needed. Develop and maintain compliance documentation, including reports, policies, and procedures. Monitor and track compliance activities and report on the university's compliance status to senior management. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the compliance monitoring program. Participate in the development and execution of compliance risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential areas of non-compliance. Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of the role.
