The Seasonal Claims Data Entry Clerk position is a critical component of arenaflex’s Field Support Department. During peak periods—most notably the hurricane season—but also whenever claim volumes surge, we rely on dedicated team members to ensure that every piece of content‑related loss data is captured accurately and processed swiftly. Your work directly influences the speed and quality of claim resolutions, helping insurers meet their commitments to policyholders while maintaining arenaflex’s high standards of excellence.

Position Overview

This temporary, seasonal role offers flexible, home‑based work across multiple states (Kansas, Oklahoma City, Indiana, Iowa City, and Tennessee). Assignment lengths can range from a few days to several months, depending on business needs. High performers may be considered for permanent full‑time opportunities. The role is process‑oriented, adhering to arenaflex’s established claims methodologies, and involves both data entry and the review/editing of transcribed voice clips generated by our mobile app software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurate Data Entry: Input lists of claim items with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring completeness and correctness.
  • Transcription Review: Examine and revise transcribed entries from the mobile app, correcting errors and enhancing readability.
  • Team Communication: Maintain ongoing dialogue with fellow data entry specialists and Content Claims Specialists to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Workflow Management: Meet established deadlines, prioritize tasks, and adapt to shifting workloads.
  • Documentation: Upload pertinent claim information into arenaflex’s systems, preserving detailed notes for future reference.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement immediate changes following QA reviews to uphold the highest standards of data integrity.
  • Time Logging: Submit comprehensive daily work and time logs for all processed claims.
  • Ad‑hoc Support: Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall efficiency of the claims processing team.

Essential Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in data entry, retail, transcription, or customer service.
  • Reliable, high‑speed internet connection and a dedicated workspace free from background noise.
  • Personal computer or laptop running Windows 10 or 11 (Mac or Chromebook not supported).
  • USB‑wired headset and functional webcam for occasional virtual meetings.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook and strong online research skills for accurate pricing of items.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to error‑free work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Compensation, Perks, & Benefits
