[Remote] Senior Financial Analyst

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Trillium Health Resources is a Managed Care Organization serving North Carolina. They are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide analysis and auditing functions within the finance department, focusing on financial reporting, data analysis, and supporting business planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of the general ledger
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for forecasting, trending, and results analysis to support business planning and decision-making processes
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders
• Prepare and present accurate monthly summary of expenses and direct costs with concise action-oriented commentary and analysis
• Compile, review, and analyze financial information/statements

Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
• Associate's degree and four (4) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience in Accounting/Finance/Business or financial analysis related field including analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports or preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations; OR
• Equivalent combination of education/experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must reside within North Carolina
• Must be able to travel within catchment as required
• Experience with 'Dynamic Arrays' within Microsoft Excel
