Key Responsibilities

As a Provider Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will take ownership of high-impact data operations that directly influence claims adjudication accuracy and provider network integrity. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving provider information from external sources, including credentialing files, network updates, and demographic change requests, and accurately entering this data into arenaflex's internal systems.
  • Validating and verifying all incoming provider data to ensure completeness, consistency, and alignment with established data quality standards before loading records into production environments.
  • Maintaining provider records within the QNXT system with a meticulous focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal protocols.
  • Conducting regular audits of loaded provider records to confirm both data quality and financial accuracy, generating documented feedback when discrepancies are identified.
  • Supporting system integration and health plan onboarding efforts by assisting with data migration, configuration validation, and operational readiness testing.
  • Training new hires and existing staff on provider data workflows, system navigation, audit procedures, and best practices for maintaining data integrity.
  • Participating in system-related testing activities, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate functionality and identify potential issues prior to production releases.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve data discrepancies and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations and arenaflex confidentiality policies in all aspects of provider data handling.
  • Maintaining organized documentation of all data updates, audit findings, and process improvements.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role at arenaflex, you will need a unique blend of precision, communication, and technical aptitude. We are looking for candidates who bring the following:

  • Time Management & Deadline Orientation: A strong sense of urgency and the ability to manage multiple concurrent requests while meeting turnaround expectations.
  • Project Management Skills: Capacity to prioritize workload, track progress, and communicate status effectively to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Microsoft Office Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel (including formulas, filters, and basic reporting), and Access.
  • System Adaptability: Willingness and ability to learn arenaflex's internal platforms, with a particular focus on the QNXT system.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities to interact professionally with internal teams, providers, clients, and members.

  • Regulatory Awareness: Solid understanding of HIPAA requirements and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of all protected health information (PHI).
  • Reliability: Consistent attendance and dependable performance against an agreed-upon schedule.

Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Preferred Experience: 1+ year of managed care experience, ideally within provider operations, credentialing, claims, or health plan administration.
  • Experience with QNXT or similar provider data management platforms is a strong plus.
  • Background in healthcare data entry, medical claims processing, or provider network operations will be highly valued.
