As a global leader in payments and risk operations, arenaflex processes millions of transactions daily across diverse markets, and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance, customer trust, and operational excellence. Our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Risk Compliance Operations division sits at the very heart of this mission, safeguarding our platforms, our sellers, and our customers from emerging threats while enabling frictionless, delightful experiences.

We are looking for a passionate, data-driven, and inspiring operations leader to join us as a Manager Investigations, KYC. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Kerala, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, and Delhi. If you have a deep curiosity for investigations, a track record of leading high-performing teams, and a relentless drive to improve processes through innovation, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at one of the most dynamic organizations in the digital economy.

At arenaflex, you will not just manage a team — you will shape the future of how KYC investigations are conducted, mentor the next generation of risk professionals, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders across operations, product, legal, and compliance to deliver world-class solutions.

Key Responsibilities

As the Manager Investigations for our KYC division, you will lead, inspire, and develop a team of skilled investigators working remotely across multiple regions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will span strategic leadership, operational excellence, people development, and cross-functional collaboration. Below is a detailed overview of what success looks like in this role:

  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Direct, supervise, and coordinate the daily activities of the Risk and Compliance Operations (RCO) staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Service Level Achievement: Manage your team to consistently meet and exceed forecast-based capacity targets, deliver process improvements, execute road-mapped projects, and proactively identify new initiatives that drive operational excellence.
  • Process Innovation and Optimization: Recommend, design, and implement new or improved processes, tools, and work methods that address evolving business needs. Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the team.
  • Performance Analysis and Trend Identification: Leverage data analytics to identify performance trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities. Translate insights into actionable strategies that raise the bar on productivity, quality, and customer experience.
  • Best-in-Class Operational Practices: Implement industry-leading processes for maintaining and exceeding productivity, quality, and SLA benchmarks. Serve as a guardian of operational rigor and a champion of compliance standards.
  • Strategic Business Analysis: Analyze the key levers of the KYC and risk business to proactively drive quality and efficiency improvements. Partner with stakeholders to balance business needs with regulatory and customer experience priorities.
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Recruit top-quality investigators who embody the arenaflex leadership principles. Build robust onboarding, mentorship, and career development frameworks that enable team members to thrive.
  • People Development and Succession Planning: Create personalized career roadmaps for each team member based on performance feedback, improvement areas, and career aspirations. Establish governance mechanisms for people processes and build a strong succession pipeline.
  • Training and Upskilling: Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team. Design and deliver upskilling programs that build technical, analytical, and investigative capabilities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across multiple organizations including operations, risk management, product, legal, and compliance to deliver integrated, compliant, and customer-friendly solutions to various arenaflex Payments business units.
  • Project and Program Management: Drive projects to successful completion by managing timelines, stakeholders, risks, and deliverables. Maintain clear visibility on progress and outcomes.

Basic Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you will need a strong foundation in operations management, team leadership, and risk or compliance. The following are the essential qualifications we are looking for:

  • A minimum of 4+ years of operational and/or retail management experience in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
  • At least 2+ years of direct team management experience, with demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive relevant industry experience of 4+ years across Operations, Risk Management, Fraud Investigations, or related compliance domains.
  • 3+ years of progressive team management experience, ideally in a remote or distributed work environment.
  • 4+ years of operations management and compliance experience, with a proven ability to use data and analytics to influence business decisions and strategy.
  • A consistent track record of leading people effectively, building engaged teams, and driving performance outcomes.
  • Exceptional operational, managerial, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
  • Proven experience across the domains of Risk Management, Compliance, and Fraud, with a track record of driving change and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

While the above qualifications form the foundation of this role, the following experiences will help you stand out as an exceptional candidate:

  • Prior experience in KYC operations, AML (Anti-Money Laundering), or financial crime investigations.

  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional, and remote-first organization.
  • Demonstrated success in driving large-scale process transformation or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong project management certifications or experience (PMP, Six Sigma, Lean, Agile/Scrum) are a plus.
  • Exposure to tools and platforms commonly used in risk and compliance operations.

  • Adaptability and Resilience: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and lead teams through change.
  • Integrity and Judgment: The highest standards of ethics, confidentiality, and professional judgment in handling sensitive information.

At arenaflex, your career trajectory is not just a path — it is a partnership. We invest deeply in the growth and development of our leaders through a rich blend of formal training, on-the-job learning, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure.
