This position supports arenaflex's Member Service Center operations and focuses on delivering world-class support to our members through high-volume phone calls and live chat interactions. Please note: this is a remote role, but may occasionally require virtual collaboration from a designated location within the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you will be on the front lines of member interaction, providing friendly, efficient, and accurate support across multiple communication channels. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Answering a High Volume of Inquiries: Handling a steady stream of incoming calls and member-facing chat conversations, delivering prompt and courteous service on every interaction.
  • Understanding Member Needs: Actively listening to each caller or chatter to identify the root of their concern, whether it's a general question about arenaflex.com, product details, or a more complex issue involving online orders, tracking, and delivery logistics.
  • Researching and Resolving Issues: Investigating order-related matters using internal systems and tools, then providing clear, accurate, and timely resolutions that exceed member expectations.
  • Offering Appropriate Compensation: Evaluating situations and, when appropriate, issuing compensation, refunds, or credits in accordance with arenaflex policies.
  • Acting as a Liaison: Serving as the critical link between our valued members and internal teams, including vendors, purchasing departments, and operations staff, to ensure seamless issue resolution.
  • Multitasking Across Multiple Platforms: Navigating various computer programs and systems simultaneously on multiple screens while engaging with members on the phone or via chat.
  • Applying Critical Thinking Skills: Using strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to resolve order, product, and delivery challenges efficiently and effectively.
  • Advocating for Members: Championing the needs of arenaflex members by representing their interests and ensuring they feel heard, valued, and supported throughout every interaction.

What We’re Looking For: Required Qualifications

To succeed as a Remote Customer Care Specialist at arenaflex, you should bring the following qualifications and abilities:

  • Education: A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is a plus and may accelerate your career path within arenaflex.
  • Licensing/Certifications: Must successfully complete arenaflex’s 14-day paid training program to earn the Online Member Service Specialist Certification. (Don’t worry—we provide all the training you need to get certified and excel!)
  • Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required. We welcome motivated individuals who are eager to learn and grow.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong computer literacy, the ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute, and professional business writing skills are essential.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly, clear, and professional tone at all times.
  • Schedule Flexibility: Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and split days off. Adaptability is key in our 24/7 service environment.

What to Expect: Work Environment and Schedule Details

This is a part-time position with anticipated hours ranging from 24 to 40 hours per week, depending on business needs. Shifts may include evenings and weekends, with weekday coverage from Monday to Friday. Weekend availability is required on an as-needed basis. While the role is remote, you’ll be working in a structured call center environment that requires focus, professionalism, and a quiet, distraction-free home workspace.
