Position Overview

arenaflex is currently seeking an accomplished and driven Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Professional Services Procurement team. This is a remote, full-time position based in the United States, offering a competitive hourly wage of $25 to $30, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

In this pivotal role, you will partner with business stakeholders across the entire arenaflex organization to make intelligent, data-driven sourcing decisions. Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist at arenaflex, you will take ownership of strategic sourcing initiatives that span the entire organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Lead Cross-Functional Sourcing Initiatives: Partner with key internal stakeholders across all arenaflex business segments to identify procurement needs, develop sourcing strategies, and execute initiatives that deliver measurable value.
• Evaluate and Select Service Providers: Conduct thorough evaluations of potential suppliers and consultants based on pre-defined selection criteria, including quality, cost, capability, cultural fit, and innovation potential.
• Develop and Lead RFI/RFP Processes: Design and execute comprehensive Requests for Information and Requests for Proposal for professional services in accordance with arenaflex policies and procedures.
• Analyze Bids for Total Value: Scrutinize proposals using total-cost-of-ownership analysis to identify opportunities to achieve optimal value, not just the lowest price.
• Negotiate Strategic Agreements: Prepare and execute clear, structured negotiation strategies utilizing proven Strategic Sourcing methodologies to secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Manage Contract Execution: Prepare and execute contracts, including thorough post-award administration to ensure compliance, performance, and ongoing value realization.
• Drive Performance Management: Develop and execute performance management programs with suppliers that emphasize quality, responsiveness, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to Sourcing and Procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Communicate Strategic Insights: Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports to management regarding the status of key external relationships, market trends, and procurement performance.
• Analyze Market Trends: Monitor and analyze industry developments and market conditions that may impact internal stakeholders, external suppliers, or pricing structures.
• Pursue Continuous Learning: Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging sourcing technologies.
