[Remote] Epic Ambulatory Template Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AdventHealth Colorado is a community-focused organization dedicated to uplifting individuals in body, mind, and spirit. They are seeking an Epic Ambulatory Template Analyst to design, build, and configure scheduling templates within Epic Cadence, collaborate with clinicians and IT teams, and provide training and support to end users.
Responsibilities
- Designs, builds, and configures scheduling templates and modules within Epic Cadence and supporting third-party applications
- Collaborates with clinicians, end users, and IT teams to capture business and technical requirements
- Develops and maintains system process documentation and outlines process steps using appropriate tools
- Assesses clinical workflows, performs gap analysis, and identifies necessary process changes
- Provides training and support to end users on new applications or functionality
- Troubleshoots issues or system deficiencies and initiates escalation procedures
- Implements requested changes to the system and ensures software modifications work according to specifications
- Participates in team meetings, project meetings, product validation, and testing
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and vendor/application/system updates
- Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
- Ensures compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements
- Provides recommendations for resolving identified problems
- Other duties as assigned
- Travel required up to 30% of the time!
- Epic Cadence background is highly preferred
Skills
- AdventHealth Epic Certification or ability to complete certification within 3 months of completing classes
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of products
- Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Work with minimal guidance
- Rapid learner
- Bachelor's
- 1+ years of experience leading groups in projects
- 2+ years of experience with healthcare technical systems
- Ambulatory Clinic Experience
- Epic systems experience
- EPIC Credential (EPIC CRED)
