[Remote] Product Manager(Digital Assessment Management) - SME
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Perfict is seeking a Product Manager specializing in Digital Assessment Management. The role involves owning the product vision and execution for Digital Asset Management, leading the implementation and rollout of solutions, and driving adoption through change management and workflow alignment.
Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Digital Asset Management as part of the Merchandising Systems portfolio
- Lead DAM solution implementation and rollout, including platform configuration, integration strategy, and phased adoption across brands and teams
- Define DAM’s role within the broader ecosystem, ensuring clear separation from creative production tools while enabling downstream activation and reuse
- Establish DAM as the system of record for approved and close-to-final assets, with strong metadata governance and discoverability
- Drive adoption through change management, enablement, and workflow alignment, helping teams transition from fragmented asset storage to standardized DAM usage
- Partner with Engineering and Architecture to design and evolve API-driven integrations between DAM and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., creative tools, PIM, WAM, rendering and image services)
- Define and enforce metadata strategy and governance, including enterprise attribution alignment, enrichment workflows (native or external), and data quality standards
- Enable metadata-driven automation and digital merchandising use cases, ensuring DAM supports scalable activation across channels
- Act as the primary product owner and subject-matter expert for DAM, representing the platform in cross-functional discussions and decision forums
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management with ownership of enterprise platforms
- Direct experience implementing, scaling, or operating Digital Asset Management (DAM) solutions at scale in a retail, eCommerce, or content-rich environment
- DAM experience should not focus on upstream workflows, rather working with close-to-be approved assets and making them available for the website
- Strong understanding of metadata, taxonomy, and content governance, and how they enable automation and reuse
- Experience working with large product assortments and high-volume digital assets
- Ability to articulate a clear POV on DAM's role relative to creative production tools, marketing workflows, and digital delivery platform
