[Remote] Director of Sales US & Canada

VIAS3D is seeking a Sales Director to lead their US and Canada sales organization focusing on CPE software sales, renewals, services, and training. The role involves driving growth, maintaining renewal performance, and building a scalable sales organization while collaborating with various internal teams and partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the US and Canada CPE and services sales organization across all industries
- Drive top-line growth across software sales, renewals, training, advanced support, PLM services, and related offerings
- Achieving sales targets
- Maintain strong renewal performance, with an expectation of sustaining 90%+ renewal rates while increasing focus on new software growth
- Build, coach, and develop a high-accountability sales team with strong sales discipline and consistent execution
- Lead and support strategic and enterprise account opportunities, especially larger and more complex deals
- Improve sales hygiene, including pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, CRM discipline, opportunity qualification, and deal progression
- Establish scalable sales processes that support growth, consistency, accountability, and improved visibility across the business
- Demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, inspect, and develop a remote sales team through consistent operating rhythms, clear expectations, and disciplined follow-through
- Partner closely with Dassault Systèmes and act as a key interface with the CPE channel
- Develop account strategies for enterprise and strategic customers across the US and Canada
- Support both new business development and expansion within the existing customer base
- Collaborate with technical, services, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to align sales efforts with customer needs and company objectives
- Promote a consultative sales culture focused on solving customer business and engineering challenges
- Help the team identify, qualify, and close larger opportunities, with average deal sizes often exceeding $100k
- Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, executive sponsors, technical evaluators, channel partners, renewals, services, and long-term account expansion
- Lead sales meetings, forecast reviews, pipeline reviews, and performance coaching conversations
Skills
- 5+ years of relevant software, SaaS, enterprise sales, or technology sales experience
- Prior sales management or sales leadership experience required
- Experience leading remote or geographically distributed sales teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, inspect, and develop a remote sales team through consistent operating rhythms, clear expectations, and disciplined follow-through
- Strong understanding of sales process, pipeline discipline, forecasting, and CRM hygiene
- Proven ability to coach sales representatives and develop consistent selling behaviors
- Experience selling or leading teams that sell $100k+ opportunities
- Experience leading complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, executive sponsors, technical evaluators, channel partners, renewals, services, and long-term account expansion
- Ability to support strategic and enterprise-level customer engagements
- Experience managing both new business and renewal motions
- Technically curious, with the ability to understand complex customer environments and connect software, services, engineering workflows, and business outcomes
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to balance high accountability with a servant-leader mindset
- Comfortable working with executives, channel partners, technical teams, and customer stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or science
- Familiarity with MEDDIC or similar sales qualification methodologies is a plus
- Experience with Dassault Systèmes, CPE, CAD, CAE, PLM, simulation, manufacturing software, or engineering services is a plus
