[Remote] Commercial Strategy & Analytics Manager

Blue Signal Search is a growing consumer products organization seeking a Commercial Strategy & Analytics Manager to drive strategic decision-making across sales, marketing, and product strategy. The role involves analyzing data to identify growth opportunities and providing actionable recommendations to optimize resource allocation and go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze product, customer, channel, and market data to identify opportunities for revenue growth and profitability improvement
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations regarding:
- Where to focus commercial resources
- Which products and categories to prioritize
- How to optimize promotional and marketing investments
- Opportunities to improve commercial effectiveness and business performance
- Evaluate market trends, competitive positioning, and business performance drivers
- Leverage syndicated, customer, market, and internal business data to generate strategic insights
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and leadership teams to influence business decisions
- Build business cases and analyses that support growth initiatives and resource allocation decisions
- Translate data into executive-ready recommendations and presentations
- Support strategic planning efforts through ongoing market and business analysis
- Identify emerging opportunities, risks, and market dynamics that impact growth and profitability
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Marketing, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience supporting commercial, category, pricing, sales strategy, customer strategy, business planning, market intelligence, or growth-focused analytics initiatives
- Demonstrated ability to translate data into business recommendations and strategic insights
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders and supporting business decision-making
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Advanced Excel and business analysis capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Ability to connect market, customer, and business data to actionable recommendations
- Experience within consumer products, food & beverage, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, or other commercially driven industries
- Experience evaluating category performance, customer opportunities, promotional effectiveness, pricing dynamics, or growth initiatives
- Experience supporting commercial, sales, marketing, or business leadership teams
- Experience with syndicated data, market intelligence, customer analytics, or business planning processes
- Exposure to AI-enabled analytics tools, automation, or advanced business intelligence platforms
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
