[Remote] Wargaming Instructional Designer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. BAE Systems is looking for a Wargaming Instructional Designer to support a training program. The Wargaming Instructional Designer will work with a team to deliver an integrated technical training solution to the military customer, focusing on wargaming, training design, and modeling and simulation expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Design training syllabus for professional wargaming
  • Develop training content and materials for professional wargaming education
  • Research, learn, and play-test manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems
  • Research and develop unit/equipment database
  • Design and develop tactical and operational scenarios: orders of battle, unit laydowns, unit taskings
  • Play-test scenarios
  • Support development of Technical and Operator Manuals for M&S scenario creation
  • Support development of test cases for formal acceptance testing
  • Participate in formal system acceptance testing
  • Provide training and demonstrations
  • Teach manual/tabletop and computer-assisted wargame systems
  • Support Instructors in the setup and execution of training delivery to the customer

Skills

  • At least a Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Modeling and Simulations, History, Political Science, or related fields
  • 8+ years experience in professional wargaming, military training design and development, military service, and/or military modeling and simulations
  • Wargame design, development, employment
