[Remote] Head of Growth Fractional
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Nothing else is a sensitive skincare brand focused on preservative-free formulas. They are seeking a Fractional Head of Growth to architect customer acquisition, conversion, and retention systems while working closely with the Founder and guiding creative team members.
Responsibilities
- Own Retention: Design, deploy, and continuously optimize our core email and SMS automation flows (Klaviyo) to maximize customer lifetime value and repeat purchase rates
- Direct Creative Performance: Translate web and ad data into actionable creative briefs. You will tell our content creator exactly what hooks, formats, and product angles are converting traffic into buyers
- Optimize the Funnel: Ruthlessly analyze our Shopify funnel. Identify conversion bottlenecks, suggest landing page optimizations, and improve our overall site conversion rate (CVR)
- Paid Media Prep & Oversight: Establish our tracking infrastructure (pixels, attribution tools) and manage a small, highly targeted testing budget for paid acquisition as we scale
- Report the Truth: Provide a weekly, no-fluff dashboard tracking the actual health of the business: blended CAC, MER (Marketing Efficiency Ratio), retention rates, and daily revenue goals
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in CPG and DTC
- Proven DTC Track Record: You have scaled early-stage e-commerce brands
- Data-First, Creative-Second: You live in Shopify analytics, Google Analytics, and Klaviyo dashboards. You make decisions based on numbers, not 'vibes'
- Leader of Creatives: You know how to give constructive, data-driven feedback to entry-level content creators without crushing their creative spirit
- Tech Stack Fluent: High proficiency with Shopify, Klaviyo, and modern DTC attribution/analytics tools
