Position Overview
As an Enterprise Customer Engineer – Data Analytics on the North America Technical Team, you will serve as the technical bridge between arenaflex’s sales organization and its enterprise customers. You will act as a subject‑matter expert on data‑analytics solutions, guiding prospects and existing clients through the full data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation to storage, governance, and visualization—on arenaflex Cloud. Your role will involve designing scalable architectures, delivering compelling proofs of concept, and removing technical barriers that prevent customers from realizing the full value of their data investments.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technical sales teams across North America to identify, qualify, and prioritize data‑analytics opportunities that align with customer business goals.
- Engage directly with technical stakeholders and executive leaders to uncover pain points, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into actionable solution designs.
- Architect end‑to‑end data solutions on arenaflex Cloud, including data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming architectures, and governance frameworks.
- Lead proof‑of‑concept (POC) initiatives, building prototypes that demonstrate the performance, scalability, and cost‑effectiveness of arenaflex’s analytics services.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales messaging—whiteboards, presentations, product demos, whitepapers, and RFI responses—that highlight arenaflex’s unique value proposition.
- Collaborate with product management to relay customer feedback, influence roadmap priorities, and help shape future data‑analytics capabilities.
- Provide technical advocacy during bid responses, ensuring that arenaflex’s solutions are positioned as the optimal choice for complex data challenges.
- Mentor junior engineers and share best practices across the technical community to elevate overall team expertise.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 6 years of hands‑on experience designing, implementing, or supporting cloud‑native architectures in a customer‑facing or technical support role.
- Proven ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical audiences and senior business executives.
- Solid foundation in Big Data technologies and concepts, including data warehousing, data processing, transformation, governance, migrations, ETL/ELT, SQL/NoSQL, performance tuning, and the distinction between batch and streaming workloads.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in technical sales, consulting, or pre‑sales engineering focused on cloud computing, data analytics, or Big Data solutions.
- Deep expertise in designing, tuning, and optimizing schemas and queries for large‑scale, distributed data systems.
- Broad understanding of cloud infrastructure, storage, platform services, and the dynamics of the cloud market, including customer buying behavior.
- Hands‑on experience building data warehouses, data lakes, real‑time event processing pipelines, and data visualization solutions on arenaflex Cloud.
- Ability to dissect customer requirements, break them into actionable technical components, and craft robust, future‑proof architectures.
