Position Overview

We are hiring Remote Customer Service Representatives to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a trusted guide for consumers seeking to understand, compare, and enroll in health insurance plans. You will deliver outstanding service across phone, chat, and digital channels, helping to demystify the enrollment process and provide clarity during what can often be a confusing experience for customers.

This is a full-time, seasonal temp-to-permanent opportunity with competitive base pay, performance-based incentives, and a clear pathway to long-term career growth within arenaflex.

Compensation Details

  • Base Pay: $14.50 per hour
  • Enhanced Rate: $16.00 per hour (contingent on weekly attendance and performance)
  • Spanish Bilingual Base Pay: $15.50 per hour
  • Spanish Bilingual Enhanced Rate: $17.00 per hour (contingent on weekly attendance and performance)

Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brand and mission. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a high volume of inbound and outbound calls with professionalism, empathy, and accuracy.
  • Delivering a consistently exceptional customer experience that reflects arenaflex’s commitment to service excellence.
  • Managing customer accounts, updating information, and providing technical support as needed.
  • Performing accurate and timely application data entry into our proprietary systems.
  • Responding to online chat inquiries as assigned, providing the same level of care as voice interactions.
  • Interpreting and following defined procedures, policies, and compliance guidelines to ensure accuracy in every interaction.
  • Applying creative problem-solving skills to resolve customer concerns and identify the best solutions.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in response to changing projects, system updates, and evolving customer needs.
  • Managing time and tasks effectively, with strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
  • Completing extensive self-study, training modules, and certification exams — eligibility to advance through training is dependent upon passing required assessments.
  • Adhering strictly to all regulated guidelines governing communications across every channel.

Essential Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Minimum internet speed of 35 Mbps (download).

  • Access to a personal laptop or desktop computer (required during the training period).
  • Ability to commit to full attendance during the 3-week training period.
  • Willingness to complete a background check and health screening.
  • Cable or fiber broadband internet with a hard-wired Ethernet connection is required.
  • NOT compatible: Mobile internet service providers and satellite internet services (for example, T-Mobile mobile internet is not compatible with our internal systems).

Please note: An Ethernet connection is not the same as Wi-Fi internet access or a Wi-Fi adapter/extender. A direct, hard-wired connection to your modem or router is required.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who bring the following skills and attributes:

  • Moderate to advanced computer skills, including comfort navigating multiple systems and applications simultaneously.
  • A high level of comfort learning new technology and adapting to evolving platforms.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
  • Comfortable working from home independently and as part of a distributed team.
  • Self-motivated and success-driven, with a strong sense of personal accountability.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

While prior experience is not mandatory, the following qualifications will help you stand out:

  • Previous experience in a customer support or technical support role.
  • Previous experience with group and/or individual health insurance, or familiarity with the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
  • Previous experience working in a call center environment.
