Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a customer-obsessed Principal User Experience Designer to define and champion the future vision for product experiences within their Agentic AI organization. The role involves designing innovative solutions to complex customer problems and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver user-centered designs and prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver complex design solutions where the product strategy may not be fully defined
  • Analyze customer problems and data to design delightful solutions at scale
  • Lead strategic alignment across teams using expertise in UX disciplines and processes
  • Create user-centered designs through research, analysis, and close collaboration with product and business partners
  • Rapidly prototype user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to conceptualize new initiatives
  • Communicate design work clearly to leadership and across different audiences
  • Apply systems-level design thinking to drive scalable solutions
  • Ship features from concept to design to implementation and through to roll-out

Skills

  • 12+ years of design experience
  • Available online portfolio demonstrating design work
  • Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
  • Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
  • Hands-on proficiency with design tools (Figma, Sketch, or similar)
  • Experience providing and effectively communicating strategic and tactical recommendations based on data
  • Experience designing and prototyping with tools such as Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure, Keynote, and InVision
  • Experience designing for enterprise software or developer tools
  • Experience with AI/ML products or complex technical domains
  • Track record of mentoring designers and elevating team capabilities
  • Experience working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
