[Remote] Digital Marketing Specialist
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Public Outreach is a full-service fundraising agency that connects causes and communities across Canada, the United States and the UK. They are seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist who will execute, monitor, and optimize paid digital campaigns for mission-driven clients, focusing on platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads.
Responsibilities
- Execute Google Search campaigns end-to-end, including keyword strategy, match types, bidding, and Quality Score optimization
- Launch Meta ad campaigns with minimal oversight, including audiences, creative, placement, tracking, and testing
- Support execution on secondary platforms (TikTok, Pinterest, Microsoft, Reddit) with increasing independence
- Monitor pacing, adjust budgets and bids, and flag underperformance or errors promptly
- Collaborate with strategists to align ad set-ups with broader goals and targeting recommendations
- Set up and validate campaign tracking using UTM structures and tools like Google Tag Manager
- Analyze performance via Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, and Looker Studio
- Prepare clear, client-facing reports and synthesize actionable insights
- Flag data discrepancies or tracking issues early and contribute to resolutions
- Work with creative team to ensure creative is optimized for platform and campaign goals
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to document campaign learnings and benchmarks
- Participate in internal QA and campaign hand-off processes to support consistency and scale
- Stay current on platform updates, trends, and algorithm changes across Meta and Google, as well as emerging channels
- Contribute ideas for campaign testing and creative or targeting iterations
- Support documentation of evolving best practices across the paid media function
