Build a Rewarding Career Where Every Customer Interaction Matters at arenaflex

Are you a people-first professional who thrives in fast-paced, customer-centric environments? Do you take pride in creating memorable shopping experiences, solving problems on the fly, and keeping operations running smoothly? arenaflex is searching for an enthusiastic, dependable, and service-driven Customer Service Associate to join our retail team. This isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to become the friendly face that customers remember and trust every time they walk through our doors.

At arenaflex, we believe that exceptional customer service is the foundation of everything we do. Our associates are the heart of our stores, blending hospitality, attention to detail, and operational excellence to ensure every visitor leaves with a smile. Whether you’re assisting with a purchase, helping a customer find the perfect product, processing a transaction at the register, or maintaining beautifully merchandised shelves, your work will directly shape the customer experience and contribute to arenaflex’s reputation as a trusted neighborhood destination.

If you’re looking for a role that offers variety, meaningful connections, and opportunities to grow your retail career, we invite you to explore what arenaflex has to offer.

What You’ll Do: Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you’ll wear many hats — from trusted advisor to efficient cashier to brand ambassador. Your day-to-day work will include, but is not limited to, the following core responsibilities:

  • Deliver a Distinctive Customer Experience: Greet every customer warmly, make eye contact, and offer proactive assistance with products and services. Model arenaflex’s signature service traits, including courtesy, attentiveness, and a commitment to resolving every customer concern to their full satisfaction.
  • Customer Engagement and Problem Resolution: Engage with customers and patients to understand their needs, answer questions, and resolve any issues that arise. Use your interpersonal skills to turn potentially negative experiences into positive outcomes, ensuring each customer feels valued and heard.
  • Cash Register Operations: Accurately register sales on your assigned cash register, collect payments, distribute change, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges. Maintain a courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout experience for every customer.
  • Product Recommendations and Upselling: Recommend items for sale, identify opportunities to suggest trade-up products or companion items, and help customers discover products they’ll love based on their expressed needs.
  • Store Presentation and Merchandising: Keep counters, shelves, and displays clean, organized, and well-merchandised. Take inventory, check in and price merchandise as required, and construct eye-catching promotional, seasonal, and sale displays. Complete resets and revisions as directed by store leadership.
  • Asset Protection and Compliance: Implement arenaflex’s asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss. Ensure full compliance with all state and local laws governing the sale of regulated products, including alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
  • Food Safety and Stock Rotation: Properly separate food items according to arenaflex’s policies (e.g., keeping raw and frozen meats on bottom shelves). For consumable items, practice first-in, first-out stock rotation and restock out-of-stock items promptly.
  • Technology and Systems Knowledge: Develop working knowledge of arenaflex’s store systems, point-of-sale equipment, and digital tools. Provide knowledgeable service in the photo area, including digital passport photos, poster printing, creative machine operation, and suggestive selling of promotional photo products.
  • Online Order Fulfillment: Assume web pick-up responsibilities by monitoring orders in our digital order management system, accurately picking items, and promptly delivering orders to customers as they arrive at the store for pickup.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist with exterior and interior upkeep to ensure the store remains clean, neat, orderly, and visually appealing at all times.
  • Team Collaboration and Policy Adherence: Comply with all arenaflex policies and procedures, maintain respectful and professional relationships with coworkers, and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment.
  • Special Assignments: Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned by store leadership.

Training and Personal Development

At arenaflex, we invest in our associates from day one. You’ll attend training sessions and complete Personal Performance Learning (PPL) modules requested by your Store Manager or assigned by corporate leadership. These learning opportunities are designed to help you master product knowledge, sharpen your customer service skills, stay current on operational best practices, and prepare for future advancement within the company. Your growth is our priority.
