Join Team Tutor as a Certified Teacher and Make a Difference in the Lives of Students in Philadelphia, PA. We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator to tutor small in-person groups in the Ogontz area. As a certified teacher with a strong background in special needs education, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a supportive and inclusive environment.
As a Long-Term Substitute Teacher with Team Tutor, you will be responsible for teaching academic subjects such as math, reading, and writing to students in grades K-2. You will work collaboratively with the lead teacher and other educational professionals to provide personalized instruction and support to students. Your ability to tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of students, provide positive feedback, and work effectively in a team environment will be essential to your success in this role.

Job Requirements:
- State teaching certification
- Updated clearances (FBI, police record, and child abuse)
- 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience
- Open availability to teach from 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Reliable transportation
- Passion for working with students
