[Remote] Senior Clinical Project Manager

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hays is representing a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on developing innovative oncology therapies. They are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Project Manager to lead the operational oversight and execution of global oncology clinical trials, ensuring timely and compliant study delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day management of one or more global Phase I–III oncology clinical trials
  • Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, forecasts, and operational plans
  • Manage CROs, vendors, and external service providers, ensuring performance against study objectives
  • Drive study start-up, enrollment, monitoring, and closeout activities
  • Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate cross-functional study team meetings and provide regular project updates to leadership
  • Review key study metrics, enrollment trends, and site performance data
  • Ensure compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements
  • Support inspection readiness activities and participate in audits as required
  • Collaborate with Clinical Development and Medical teams to achieve program milestones

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related discipline; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of clinical operations experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO environments
  • Proven experience managing oncology clinical trials
  • Strong understanding of global clinical trial execution and ICH-GCP regulations
  • Experience managing CROs and multiple external vendors
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced biotech environment
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills
  • Experience using CTMS, EDC, and other clinical trial management systems
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  • Advanced degree preferred
